Kinda frustrated with myself. I went downstairs to let the dog out 3 hours after eating window closed (and i was out of calories for day) and while she was out goofing around i ate a large, caloric and salty snack. Salami and swiss san and chips and guac. I am mad bc i really had a good week, both with food and exercise and was hoping for a better WI. I did well though and generally feel good. Onward and downward.

No worries! Tomorrow’s another day and the eating you did will account for only about a quarter lb at most. You can have that deficit recovered in a day!

Be good to yourself Jen, especially with your thoughts and self-talk. You know what works best for you. Like l2e said, the extra calories don't add up to much, but if you think it can be a slippery slope, figure out a strategy for those unexpected downstairs visits. Maybe have a tray of healthy snacks or foods just for those times or something similar. Onward and Downward, great attitude. 👍

No fret, you can't change the past but you can change the future.

I second Becc@. If you have a tray or crudité platter already prepared, you can grab a carrot stick or bell pepper slice and get that crunch. I can't have guac in the house as I will go crazy over it. :0)

Oh how many times my good intentions go out the window and I "let go." Like I have to keep in mind, it is the direction and course correction that really matters. Hang in there! 😊 ❤️
