So I think I finally got those 2lbs that were on and off and on and off, I think I got them OFF finally! Woot! I weighed in this morning at 138.6. I ate a lot of calories yesterday (in fact I need to go back and add the rest of my snacks), but honestly, besides one Lil Drum Ice Cream (130 cals) and one 100 calorie Reese's Crisp - I didn't have ANY junk food yesterday like at all! Everything I ate was decently healthy choices. Instead of chips, I had some deli turkey and cheese. Instead of potatoes with dinner, we made eggplant fries. So, I think I did good even though I ate more calories than normal. I didn't go over my calorie limit or anything, but yeah.

Also, we spent about a half an hour going outside and picking up chestnuts from our ~25 chestnut trees on my property. They're the kind you eat - Chinese Chestnuts (American Chestnut trees are endangered, and extremely rare, so you're not eating American Chestnuts when you buy them at the stores, most likely), and we're hoping we can sell them to a local market and make some profit. The medium sized chestnuts sell for about $5 a pound, and in just 30 minutes, we picked up almost 5 lbs. The tree's aren't even CLOSE to being empty. It's crazy. AND if we can sell something from our property, we can be classified as a farm and get a tax credit. ^_^ Always good.

I'm just wasting time at work - I have this issue. When I know my advisor is away... well, the grad student will play - play VIDEO GAMES AT HOME that is, lol! I need to be here working, well... not really because I can't go forward until one of the students get back from a conference, but yeah. So I'm sitting here - eating my kinda brunch/lunch (I know I'll end up eating something more substantial when I get home) and just playing on FS, lol! The problem is - the thing that I need to work on here, is making epoxy for setting the dentary bones that I've pulled out of my paddlefish. So, making epoxy is not a clean, fun, quick task - as you can imagine. Because of that, I've decided that basically I'm dedicated my entire day at work tomorrow working on that, and nothing else, so that I can just do it all in one big swoop.

But really, can't I go home yet? LOL

Thank GOODNESS those damn things are gone! Oohh...gotta tell me how to make eggplant fries. I still want to try sweet potato fries (homemade, I mean...LOVE them). And that's a LOT of chestnut trees! Wow, that would be cool if you could classify your place as a farm :D You're pretty smart, SQ Now, I assume you're off work! Have a great evening. And congrats on the pounds being off!

And your washer and dryer actually SING?? :D That's pretty cool. True, can't look a gift horse in the mouth. I still think about the red though...it's so pretty.
