Good morning, Fatsecret!

It's the (more or less) usual short Saturday weigh-in!

I'm down a good chunk since yesterday, but still above 90 kilos. Not good enough. Let's hope that next week will show some progress.

Sure, I'm putting on muscle, but I know I can optimize my food intake, I know I can get a kilo or two off if I really put my mind to it. The trick is of course exactly that - putting my mind to it.

It's a good day today - it's beautiful weather, sun is shining, it's Saturday, it's Indulgence Day, and a good friend is visiting tonight. We're watching The Hobbit in 3D. I'll be looking forward to that.

Daughter is joining me at the gym - we're leaving in a few minutes. I better get ready!

But before ago - here's a little review of the chili sauce I mentioned yesterday - this dude is a "chili expert"... let's see what he thinks...

HOT SAUCE! Funny! Last year, I grew Scorpion Hot peppers, they won the guiness book of world records for the hottest pepper. When the university extention did their study on them, the pickers burned through gloves just picking them. They were HOT! These hot pepper people are SERIOUS!

Earthlady - there is just something magical about wathing people volunteer to go through stuff like this. :)

Well my fingertips are still burning this morning after chopping a regular red chilli for our salad last night. I just can't imagine why anyone (in their right mind) would go through the sort of pain we're seeing here - voluntarily!

Mind you, I have learned to administer this chili. I knew what I was getting into from the first time, as I'm always super cautious trying new stuff out. I used very small amounts. At that level, the flavor is amazing - but you still gotta be prepared for an intense burn. :)
