Not sure what's happening with my body. I have not cut back to under my RDI of 1500 calories, but have cut back to less than I was eating. Before the holidays I consistently ate around 1200 to 1300 calories. I have been mindful of what I eat, but finding it difficult to be really strict. I've been eating cheese....trying to make my way thru the leftover cheese we bought to make my daughter's charcuterie board. We seemed to desire quite a variety for only 4 of us 😐 I hate being wasteful. I sat here last night after dinner while we watched TV...a football game I wasn't really watching very closely...thinking about getting a sweet snack. I never did eat one, but I thought about it! I'd already eaten 1600 plus calories so I guess going over even more held me back. But the scale is slowly going down, so that's good.

I bought a new belt this week. Got tired of my jeans slipping down my hips & constantly tugging them back up. 😊 I don't usually wear belts anymore but needed to do something.

Our 2nd vehicle, a 2003 truck broke down a couple of days before Christmas. With the holidays the repair shop was closed several days & they weren't able to get to it right away. We were imagining all kinds of scenarios & big bucks for repairs. Picked it up Friday.... $101 for repair! I actually cried with happiness when we found out. Last thing we needed was a huge repair bill!

Most of the decorations are packed away, but the trees & lights remain. Might have to bite the bullet & finish getting them all down. Maybe....😊

150.0 lb Lost so far: 22.8 lb.    Still to go: 15.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I had to eat more to get the scale moving. Sometimes when I eat less, I gain or stall. We all know our bodies more than someone else and know what’s best for us. Maybe more cals are better for you too!! I love that I’ve lost 25lbs eating more than I ever dreamed possible...mind you I lift often and heavy which has made ALL the difference!
