Planning to get back to my more focused WOE today. I may still stray a little til after New Year's Day, but not as far. The most I have been up is 4 lbs. and I'm working my way back down. Yesterday I had a higher calorie breakfast of crepes and bacon, but didn't eat lunch. I was in the car driving for 3 hours. I did have a snack of rum & egg nog after I got home. 🙄 I meant to bring the rest of it with us to my Sisters' so my daughter could help finish it off but forgot it. It is SO high calorie!
Dinner was leftover Tuscan chicken...no rice this time...& kale salad. And a tangerine Outshine pop for dessert (40 calories)

Dropped Daughter & Granddaughter off at the airport yesterday afternoon so it's just hubby & I at home now. As always we had a whirlwind visit that went by quickly. Daughter is recovering from her radiation /chemo so had to occasionally rest & had cat naps. Overall she's doing pretty good. She's getting her appetite back but often by dinnertime she wasn't able to eat more than a few bites. She has been going thru an acrimonious separation from her husband for several years so she's dealing with that mentally / emotionally as well. They're not divorced (long story/ it's complicated) so she hasn't moved on in her head 😕 I try to be supportive. Her husband has a girlfriend the age of his oldest daughter (from 1st marriage). My daughter has strong Christian beliefs & this isn't sitting well with her.

Today, I'm having coffee...will have breakfast then do some laundry & housekeeping. No plans to leave the house. I always leave the Christmas decorations up til New Year's Day so don't have to start taking them down til next week.

151.6 lb Lost so far: 21.2 lb.    Still to go: 16.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yes, JC she has gone through a lot but mostly has a positive outlook. I hate she doesn't live closer & miss her between visits. We are very close. Keyton, we do Facebook, instagram, text, phone calls....whatever it takes to stay connected. 😊 My son is not as good at it as my daughter, but I'm thankful I have mutiple methods to be in each other's lives. I can remember a time before cell phones & computers when each minute cost to talk to your loved ones.
