I slipped.... somewhat innocently. Yesterday we were at a local Farmers market and there was a table selling keto xmas products.
While I was buying healing spices, my husband was purchasing keto peanut butter bars, keto chocolate chip cookies and a keto raspberry cheescake. .....While watching a movie later with tea I ate 5 chocolate chip cookies (for dipping), four of the mouth watering peanut butter bars and two small pieces of the tiny cheesecake.
On reflection this morning- as this is my first loss os senses in many months- I am realize I am still very weak to the powers sugar - it is like by brain powers quickly defer to any possibility of sweet sugar in the near future. I know that in those keto kitchen delights there were many hidden sugars. - as the scales today reflect my slip.
So back I go to saying no to Christmas carb delicacies. I think if I can maintain my current weight over the Christmas season I will be happy. Following keto and IF certainly make it much easier to keep with my intention.
163.9 lb Lost so far: 24.1 lb.    Still to go: 33.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 8.1 lb a week

Oh my those do sound seductive! I am sure you are correct about the extra calories involved in those choices. The sugar train is so darn hard to get off of and stay off, isn't it? I continue to use my homemade yogurt as a sugar fix however when it is gone I am tearing the house apart looking for sugar. Dates work in a pinch! Last two days I have had crackers and cheese which really are not a good plan. Maintaining over Christmas is a laudable goal. It is my plan as well.
