binkytexas's Journal, 01 November 2019

Feeling much better today. Took a prepped chicken dish out of the freezer and then roasted fresh green beans.

Last night, Binky was well behaved in her bumblebee costume. We took a short walk. A friend gave us an "angel wings" costume for All Saints Day, but it is too big for Binky.

Excited to have my PT next Tuesday afternoon. I want extra strategies to increase my flexibility and strength. Sometimes (today not one of them) I just want to go for a walk or do something active, but my hip pain prevents me from doing so. I used to be fairly active and being forced to slow down is hard.

I look at the people I have met here on FS and I am just so thankful. I have learned so much in a couple of months and feel that the friends here on FS help keep me accountable. The support really helps lift you up!

Happy All Saints Day! A few of you are guardian angels!

It's good to hear you're feeling better! I know what you mean about missing the ability to just go for a walk. When I lived in DC I walked everywhere, but not anymore. But hey, we're still kicking! 🌈🌈🌈

ANNNDDD two of the guardian angels check in! I tried to get down on the ground to play with my puppy. It was a test. I love to take baths and haven't been able to since my hip problems started. I told myself if I could get down on the ground and get back up without problems, I could take a bath. Oops. That lasted 20 seconds. This from someone that taught little kids for years. But yes, we're still kicking!

💕 of course you have friends invested in you Binky friend 💜💚 people mock the internet, but then why do we have adolescences committing suicide or being extra if..... it’s just the internet??? One kind word might save someone. I gave up FB almost 2 years ago, and joined FS in December. My life and my family’s life has improved. You can absolutely make legitimate connections on a social site where we our all vulnerable in different goals and you can make real connections and friends here. I am so glad to hear you are ok❤️
