FLOWERDUDE's Journal, 22 August 2010

I have been good on breakfast and lunch...but dinner has been...meh.. not ever really getting a true "meal" in.. and not really log in in food to measure etc. I have been a little tired of trying to figure it out. I am a creature of habit on breakfast and lunch... so i don't really have to think about it much. Oh well..
I usually have a little up slope about now.
My leg cramps didn't happen...but I feel like they are just on the edge of kicking in... yuck. I may actually have to make a dr. appt. (gasp)

up lopes happen- Don't get discouraged. You are doing a great job, don't be so hard on yourself. Sometimes we just gotta take a break (very short break, but still a break) it took a long time to put on our extra weight, so it stands to reason that it will take just as long or longer to get rid of it. Keep on truckin' Dude- I'm right here behind you all the way! Hope you can avoid the trip to the doctor about those cramps.

I can't manage without logging my food in. After I am more used to everything I can probably get away with not logging but I can't keep close enough track of my carbs if I don't log my food in right now. Hope legs get better.

I think I know how you feel - I'm not really tracking now either. Just not motivated to do it. I know what I can and can't eat, just not paying attention to those little creeper carbs... probably gonna bite me in the butt. This is my bad week anyway. A toast - Here's to us getting it together and doing what we need to get it done...sip sip chug chug :)

Don't worry too much about it. Just keep on doing what you were doing because you are obviously doing something right. I'm sure if you take some measurements you will see that you are still losing. I know how it is when thinking I have done nothing different than what I have been doing for the last couple of weeks and I see an uptick, its a little disappointing but a couple of days later if I stay the course, then I will see it go lower. I call these more of a slow down rather than an uptick. Hopefully, the leg cramps will stay away. Keep on, Keeping on!

FD, we all have periods when we don't do as well as we would like, because, quite frankly, it gets old. Always having to track what we eat, making sure we don't "go over", not being able to enjoy what our friends are eating, and trying to figure out what we can eat that fits within our boundaries, and is different than the standard fare we've been eating. So don't feel too badly. But don't get too lax either, that can lead to a full blown carbout! ;) You are doing so fantastic, and I would hate to see you start to struggle. Have a great day dear friend!!

Sorry you are having a rough time. We have all been there. We have all been tested from time to time. I wouldn't worry too much about forcing yourself into a true meal at night. If you can try adding more of your requirements earlier in the day and use the evenings as a healthy snack. Im certain this is just a fluctuation. It's hard to gain real weight that fast. Well, sending you lots of support!

Sorry you're going through a "blah" time. I think we've all been there,i know I have. Like Steph said,it just gets old. What I do,(and I don't know that it's the right thing!)is just eat VLC and don't worry about the 0 carb stuff. I just eat when I want, what I want(just don't overeat). I figure as long as the carbs are low,I at least won't gain til the mood passes. Good luck to you. You have a lot of people who care about you and your success!
