Back to normal in my own bed and bathroom and scale after hip replacement. Can now go upstairs. So did lose a little. YEah! And walking better and doing an hour of therapy 3 x a week. And with some sore muscles the next day. So now am setting a mini goal to lose 10 pounds by Thanksgiving. Because after that till the new year I know I will be happy to mmainain. Happy weekend all

Glad you’re on the mend. I got a new hip last year and it’s so much better doing everything now. I gained weight partially from not being able to get around without pain and from eating to “drown my sorrow” from the pain, as well. This was a lot easier than when I got my knees replaced, and I really hope this is the only replacement you have to have. 😊🎈

I did not gain this past month when having the replacement. I too hope that i don't need anything else re placed. I have to laugh when I see the exercise that some do at the gym, or running or walking miles. And I do therapy 3 x a week and most days walk a little less than 2000 steps (according to my fit bit). And some days have lots of achy muscles. Oh well this too shall pass.
