Day 2 of a planned 4 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting

I ate so much on Monday that I honestly feel there was food still digesting in my stomach all day Tuesday.

Basically, I was full and not hungry at all. So, I cut my protein shakes in half. This had me come in at only 10 carbs and only 50 grams of protein.

A perfect day. The only way I can even come close to those macros is when I ‘water fast’.

😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

I hate the feeling of being full in the morning still - it is much nicer to start the day feeling light - have a good day adef!

You've really got a routine going! I don't think I could fast as much as you do.

You know exactly what to do. 👍 That full feeling on waking up, can be bothersome. Have a good day. 🌞

@nikeit - Thanks!

@Fritzy 22 - I am so used to going on a liquid diet during the week, I feel 'bloated' when I don't do it.

@Becc@ - Yes, people with refrigerators full of easily accessible food should never have to eat until they are 'stuffed'.

Funny you should say that. We're leaving for an extended vacation and was thinking how much food would spoil in our freezers if our piwer goes out while we're gone. 😟

You are right Adef, the food does just sit there. Body can only digest so much at a time.

Becc@, your comment made me look it up. I found this: "Keep the refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible to maintain the cold temperature. The refrigerator will keep food cold for about 4 hours if it is unopened. A full freezer will keep the temperature for approximately 48 hours (24 hours if it is half full) if the door remains closed." I feel that way sometimes so full. You described it perfectly. On these days I just don't eat much. I just can not do it.

I think I remember reading about a hack that would tell you if your freezer had been off a significant amount of time. I think the idea was to put a quarter on top of a couple of ice cubes in their trays. If you come home and the coin is no longer on top but in the middle or at the bottom it would give you a clue as to how long. Never tried it but sounds good.
