Exactly, this is why I don't even bother to weigh myself 3 days before and definitely not during TOM. It's not an accurate reading, so why put yourself through it.

Exactly Josie Ann.....Not going to torture myself. Jaime- You are absolutely right. Thank you for being you and listening to me whine about the little things when others have much bigger problems.

Rachel you know that TOM likes to play "MIND GAMES" .. don't even worry about it - once it's gone, you will be right back to where you belong and more pounds will shed! Try not to worry about it! .... You got this in the bag!

I agree, Rachel. You know the cause and you know it'll be gone when TOM is gone. Still think he (TOM) needs to be shot.. hahaha

I so agree with you ladies. I know I'm being whiny and promise I'll stop it! TOM definitely needs to be shot!!! He(TOM) ruins everything he comes in contact with. But there's nothing I can do about it short of a hysterectomy which I'm not going to do unless medically necessary so I need to just learn to live with it (you'd think after 15ish years I'd get use to it). Next month I WILL be prepared and next month WILL be better!! Today I started back on the downward slope to getting rid of the excess weight that came along for the ride. Hopefully by next week TOM will be gone and so will that dreaded excess weight!

Hate to depress you young ladies but TOM is a just a monthly obstacle. It gets worse. In high school (at 5 ft 5) I was so skinny one mean boy said "if she turns sideways and sticks out her tongue she'd look like a zipper". When I was pregnant at 9 months - both times - I weighed 135 lbs and went back to 110 immediately afterward. I actually took weight gain pills in my twenties. Then in my late forties TOM went away forever. Metabolism dives. TOM became sllooooowww metabolism, weight went up and got stuck. So I'm glad you are learning NOW how to habituate yourselves to a weight management way of life. Get active and stay active NOW! And always send love vibes to your body even when TOM visits; TOM is keeping you healthy. The longer you keep TOM coming back, the more likely you will not get brittle bones at my age (64).
