Good Morning!! Someone's Doberman wouldn't let me sleep in any later!! Blue kept jumping on and off the bed. His code for GET UP!!!! I could ignore it except it disturbs DH who of course hasn't been in bed nearly as long as I have since he is working nights. So ... up I am!!!

And DOWN I am too ... another dip in the scale ... a wonderful way to begin a weekend!!!Steadily making my way back to under 200. Sure would be nice to get there by my birthday!!! Birthday isn't until mid-April so I think there is a fair chance I might make it!!

Fortunately I have work to do for the Association I can dip into this morning. That and pay bills. That's always a very exciting proposition!! Other than that ... life just clicks along ...

Grateful this morning ....

A date with my husband today!!
Beginning to feel like I belong in my body again.
Excited my mom will get to see her "big" sister soon.
Incredibly grateful I still have my mother in my life.

And so it goes ... practicing being kind to myself, being mindful of taking care of myself, being patient ... oh being patient is soooo difficult!!! Reminding myself to focus on this moment, what I have right now ... the future is always uncertain, the past is gone, what I have is this moment, and these moments can be enjoyed. Enjoy your day!!

I need your green juice recipe. Thanks for the journal on juicing. I am very interested in your results. Love that you have found something that is fairly painless and the scale is moving!!! Bravo!!

WOW... you are sticking to the juicing and it's working for you! Well done, Carol! I have to admire you and your hubby for doing this. Whatever works! Thanks for dropping by my journal and encouraging me. I am doing okay with my food this week, so far. My portion control is lacking but I am trying to get back in the groove. Have a nice weekend.

Sounds you are on the right track including be kind to yourself....for all things....when is your BD? many April buddies here, mine is April 19th. I am trying to get to somewhere close to 200 by then so I know you will do it no problem :)

Hi Carol, happy new year hun. Thanks for your post on my journal towards the end of the year. And thank you for saying you miss me. You are so nice. I don't know why I haven't come back, its busy in the mornings at work and I just don't seem to have the time plus like 100% of the population I've gained and am struggling. I read SO much and am SO confused between Paleo, Atkins, etc, too much protein, too little fat, what kind of fat, eat bacon, nitrates can kill, don't eat sugar, don't eat sugar substitute - blah, blah blah. Oi its exhausting, isn't it? Trying to find that balance that's right for me and for my body. I am fat, I have lots of tummy and thigh fat, which I had managed to lose a lot of but now that I've gain a bit again its all come back and I hate it. I can still fit into all my lower weight clothes - just - but they are tight and I have this belly, which all the pundits say is not good for you. Sigh. And my knees, oi vey, lets not go there - so sore. Working on that with docs. Anyway, I'm sure you are sorry now you said you missed me - lol - I miss journaling, pouring my heart out, but when I go back and read some of my previous entries, they seem to be 'not me' does that make sense? Glad the juicing is working for you. What is the 'green juice' you talk about? I miss you too,wish there was another way to communicate but I know all our time is limited and the odd hello on FB is all any of us have time for. Speaking of which I think I may go and nudge you and Cathy on FB to say hello. Big hugs girlie, I still hope you and I can meet in Tampa to see Cathy some day. Good to dream! Oh and congrats on dropping weight. You are rocking the juicing. Fingers cross this is 'it' and you have found the magic for you and enjoy your date night :)
