Down 0.5lbs but I'm taking it. Feeling really blah today. Went to bed waaay to late, then got up waaay too late - spent three ours focusing under (basically) a microscope (really just a huge magnifying light because it's easier than a scope for what I'm doing) in a building with no A/C and it's about 95 here today (heat index over 100 - WITH LOTS of HUMIDITY!)... I thinjk that wiped me out bad. I am drinking coffee which I hate drinking because I don't want to become a "coffee drinker" (nothing against you coffee drinkers, but I prided myself on not drinking it, but damn it's good with some coffee mate in it...)... BLAH I hope I wake up. Slowly finishing the unpacking. Then its BACK to painting baseboards and stuff...

Hopefully this week I can find someone to come fix the basement so it stops leaking for good, then we can move a lot of stuff down there, like the kitty litter boxes. But it's gonna cost a bundle. Not to mention we're needing to get both fireplaces refinished (the upstairs one like COMPLETELY overhaul it, the downstairs just getting a custom mantle if we can afford it, I have no idea what it'd cost, but it's hand carved with animals, so I'm going to try and get a fish)...

Still so much to do, but as many of you wise folks have said "if there's nothing to be done to a house it's probably on the market"... so there's always something to do, even if you're a celebrity millionaire. However it would be nice to have people to get my stuff done for me, lol so I don't have to worry about scheduling and calling people and everything, HAHA!

Alright. Coffee must be kicking in. I need to run with this or I might crash out. Lasts nights workout was a joke, didn't even break a sweat... tonight I'm going to try for a longer one, but it depends on how much housework I've done all day. Oh, also pigged out like a big fat piggy for lunch. Damn it.

Congrats on the half pound! It ALL counts. Try iced coffee with vanilla creamer. The creamer is horrible for us, but wow, I just love the coffee that way. Humidity absolutely wipes me out. I don't think I'd survive in the South! Put hot flashes on that and you've got a homicidal maniac on your hands. It's "humid" here right now, but for places where it's really sticky it probably wouldn't be considered humid. I like my dry air! Takes a toll on the skin, though...always a trade-off, huh?-----------------------------------Leaky basements...ugh...reminds me too much of our house in WA state. The tiny house (672 sq ft) we remodeled and finished the basement in to double the square footage. That was a royal pain. It sat right at the water table and was built in like 1920 or something and leaked like crazy. We ended up (after numerous products) using the stuff called elasto-seal or something to that effect. At one point during a downpour, the water was coming up through the floor (and leaking down the walls in spots) and my husband was just tossing hand fulls of this powder (not even bothering to mix it with water) on the leaks. Whatever product it was, it finally did the job. Then we painted this gooey tar like substance over the entire block walled foundation and the entire basement floor. Stunk like crazy, especially as it dried, but it worked. At least as far as we know :) We moved shortly after finishing it. No, actually before we'd even hung the doors and hired someone to do that job. I tiled that floor, too. Good luck with this and with getting the fireplaces in order and safe to use. I think the idea of the custom mantle is pretty cool :) Makes me want to actually work on our bedroom fireplace. Well, makes me want to work on it when it cools off substantially! :) I hope you had a good workout. I didn't work out yesterday. But I'm about to go in there and hopefully go hard at it. I ordered MORE dvd's, too. Besides the two or three Crunch ones I recently added to my growing collection of workout dvd's, I also just won a bid on eBay for the Slim in 6 that I saw someone on here talking about and sounds like a great workout. How is that mat working out for you? I still use mine and put it on top of the gym flooring stuff my husband bought for me :)
