One pound down this week. Yesterday I was actually at 141 in the afternoon after I got home from swimming and almost recorded it. Then we went out for a delicious Chinese dinner last night and I just ate and didn't worry about stuff. So I'm up a pound from yesterday. Most likely it is some extra water weight and won't take too long to burn off. I've been watching my points this week and have exercised too a good amount, so I am feeling good. I will be careful with points today as I ate too much last night!

Twice this week I've ran into people I hadn't seen in a month or two and they commented at how good they thought I looked and said, "wow, you've lost weight!" So that was nice to hear!

On a non-weight related issue, some of you know we are self employed with our remodeling business (www.collinshomeimprovements.com). My husband had 2 interviews this week for other jobs where he would be an employee for more stability as things have been looking slow for future jobs with the current economy, and he got a large addition job that he bid, so we were a little confused as to what direction to go. Well, he had an interview with a larger roofing/ siding/ windows company yesterday and they called back and offered him a job doing exactly what he is doing and he can still do his jobs he has bid, but he would be working with him. They currently do not do interior work, so he would be working just as he had been to get jobs and they have many leads for interior work so he would head up that section of the company. It sounds like a good opportunity for him to be able to slowly start that up and it seems like that could end up eventually with him being the head of that division down the road. The good thing is more stability in getting a paycheck from someone else again and not having to pay all our profit right to the government and better health insurance. So that was a long ramble, but thus the reason we went out to Chinese to celebrate!

Anyway, I hope you all have a good day! I'll be checking in with your journals each day as usual. If I have a lower weight tomorrow, I may just have to report it!

Chinese food definitely causes bloat. Most places use MSG and there is a lot of sodium with the sauces, etc. Way to go getting compliments from people who haven't seen you in a while! That sure boosts the confidence :) And congrats on hubby's new job opportunity. It really sounds promising for him to be able to move up and make a name for himself. And the added stability is a definite bonus, too. You deserved to celebrate :D

That's great news about your hubby's opportunity-- hope everything works out for your family. The chinese food celebration was, I'm sure, worth every point!! Keep up the good work!

Look at you! Almost under 140! Way to go! Had Chinese food myself tonight, but it stayed under my points since I starved myself the rest the day. Hope everything works out with your hubby! Sounds great to me. Paychecks are always nice :)
