Sigh. I hate posting the gains, but I know it's the only way to stay accountable!!! I'll be drinking a ton of water today and sticking to fruits. Although I really didn't eat badly yesterday either so I'm not sure what my deal is right now. Like Beets mentioned in her journal I too feel like I keep bouncing in between the same small range and it's frustrating to say the least. I guess I will have to try this HIT thing and see if it revs me up to help start posting some GOOD losses.

My friend Ashley finds out if she's having a baby boy or a girl on Friday. She has two boys already and recently lost her mother to cancer so I'm praying so hard she gets a little girl!!! She had a great relationship w/ her mom so I think that could help her so much in the healing process if she got to have her own litte daughter to bond with.

THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1) The rain cooled down the temperatures
2) Found a nice place for my dogs to stay this weekend
3) Lazy summer evenings playing Scrabble w/ Salem

I am with you regarding the chart. I am so not happy with how it has been looking lately ... but then I don't seem to be really doing anything about it. Oh, nevermind me Christina ... I think I am having one of those midlife hormonal moments!!

Aw, I hope your friend finds out she's having a girl, too. I saw you found a nice outdoorsy place for your dogs. Phew! That's a relief. I am SOOO sick of these same numbers, up/down up/down. We're going to bust through this!

Yeah, whats a HIT??? Don't worry about the gain, just drink that water, get some exercise, and it will be gone in no time. Do you belong to a gym??

HIT= high intensity interval training. I thought I heard of it from one of you guys?? Lol. My friend who's a doctor also told me about it. It's basically like you do one exercise for a bit, then stop and do something hardcore for a few minutes, and then go back to your "main" exercise. So like quick bursts of something very high intensitity to break up the monotony of say, treadmill running.

No Momo I don't belong to a gym. The reason I don't is because once school starts again I don't feel like I'd get my money's worth. I'm gone 8 AM- 10 PM those days on school days. Or am I being lazy for saying that?? Should I go before work those days? I just feel like I'd be so exhausted by the time I was done school if I got up at 6 AM to work out?

Oh yeah, now I remember the HIT thing - I think it was ChattyCathy that told us about that. Yeah, your super lazy for not wanting to exercise on days where your gone more than 14 hours! Shame on you!! LOL Thats hard boy - how many days a week do you have that???

ah i am sorry to hear that about your friend. i hope she has a girl too- it will help:) keep strong re the food- a day of detox can do a body good! i am looking forward to seeing your losses- because you CAN do it. ps- let me know how HIIT works for you!

Yes it was me. When I went to that Conference they had a speaker who talked about it for quite some time. I think I wrote some of the information on my journal the next day. I have been wanting to try it but I don't have a program to follow. I am very interested to see how you like it and how it works out.
