peeperjj's Journal, 26 April 2019

This drop in one day makes me lean toward my ‘cycle’, that should be non existent, being the cause. Of course it could be the weights. However last summer I did this but I was 30-40# heavier and I’m at my ‘ideal’ weight range. Different sites say anywhere from 110-135. Just happy the number is below 120 again ;).

Off to a farm field trip with the 4 yr old. This should be fun :). Then maybe a girls lunch or cuddle time depending on how tired she is and how many hotdogs they feed her today. Since it’s an edict field trip I wonder if they’ll explain what exactly is in those hotdogs. It IS farm related after all haha.

Yes! That’s the spirit! Don’t get attached to a number...keep saying that and you won’t suffer with the fluctuations

Turns out the farm was in the family of someone we know. My daughter has a male friend/fellow bb player and I visit with his mom at games and things. His grandma, her mom, owns the farm we went to. Macy had seen almost all of it on hubbys family farm and at my great uncles but there were a few things she didn’t know about like turkeys, ducks and she’d never seen a baby lamb. Her and her friend wanted to spend most of the time on the hay bales 🙄. Her friend doesn’t have access to them but we do. It’s more fun playing with a friend I guess. We ended up napping. She was full and they insisted I eat a hotdog so I ate one that one of the kids didn’t want and half of Macy’s. Then her friend handed me half her chips and extra cookie. Seems she doesn’t like to waste food either. My butt doesn’t thank her but my mouth and belly did lol. Was a fun day and I burned almost 300 kcal just following them around.

Ty rosio. I do really like the even numbers by 5’s. I’m good with 115 and 120. Once I can tell I’m building muscle then I’ll be fine with 125,130&135. I’m a numbers person. 🤷‍♀️ I just have to remember that my scale isn’t accurate so I shouldn’t worry about the number unless it keeps going up for several consecutive weeks. I don’t have a measurable muscle gain. I did however notice that when I turn my arm around I can see some triceps forming. The bat wings look the same but feel a bit smaller. Hubby says the butt is a tiny bit more firm. I think he says that just so I’ll keep asking him to see if I’m gaining any in my glutes lol. Again not even a 1/8” gain from when I measured a few months ago. I need to measure now so I can see what gains I have in the future. I didn’t measure before starting back to the gym.

A lill lamb!? Awww how cute! I’ve seen a ton of calves (being born and all) but never a lamb. Walking around the farm is good exercise and fun too 😄 Good job on building up the triceps 💪

Thanks! Yes it is good exercise. Especially when lifting 40# kids up on machinery lol. I used to have a few lambs and a cow. Never did see any babies born. One morning a baby lamb or calf would just be there. I have seen piglets born though. Not my own as I didn’t breed them. In ag we had to help with sows and piglets many times. Not near as cute as calves or lambs lol. Calves are the softest by far.
