59Carol's Journal, 06 April 2019

Another decent loss this week. I am feeling quite in control on the eating front. I have been cooking for myself and doing some batch cooking so that there is food available when I want it.

I am trying out using a smaller fork-- a dessert fork for eating. It seems to slow me down which is my purpose. So small plate and a small fork works well psychologically!

I have been working on getting things moving forward. I have met with the bank and am somewhat frustrated that I have to re-apply for a line of credit that I have had for the past 20 years. The rest is going to roll over just fine. I wanted the line of credit for some renos that need attending to on our income properties.

Yesterday I met with a Harley Davidson course instructor who is willing to take on my husband's two bikes. He will flush fluids and make sure they are roadworthy so I can sell them in good conscience. That should be done by the end of the month. I also spoke to a friend who has a roofing business so he is coming next week to look at the barn, out buildings and my house for roofing. I am definitely feeling like I am moving forward on a variety of fronts.

I saw the physiotherapist after a year of not. I had let this piece go while dealing with my husband's health. My edema in my arm from the breast cancer and melanoma has remained steady so that was good news. My heels are doing much better despite the X-ray that shows I have two bone spurs on each foot one facing down and one facing up along the Achilles tendon. At least I know the pain is physical and not a muscle strain.

Things are moving along at a pace.
