My heart is low. We are going tomorrow to visit my husband's dying sister for the last time. Her nurse said she would be gone by this weekend. Our daughter and husband are here for an endodontist appointment and her husband to take more off a squamous cell cancer. They will stay an extra two days to go with us to see her aunt one last time. My husband has a late morning doctor appointment tomorrow that we can't miss, so we are adjusting the time between appointments and availability. We may be able to make it there in 3 hours, but it will be late enough to hit all the LA traffic coming home. That's okay, nothing compared to our breaking hearts. What a blessing that she doesn't seem to have pain. She isn't verbal anymore, and is close to comatose. Eating window 6.5 hours.
