Keep working on finding out more about all the things you can eat. And if it is hard to resist certain things in the grocery store maybe try ordering online a few times till you can get back to waling by them

.5 pound isn't bad. Usually I will immediately see about 4 pounds, but it goes away within a few days if I get right on back. So now I just don't weigh myself for 3 or 4 days after a bad day!

I probably missed the indiscretion journal but this isn't that bad. Don't beat yourself up.

If you really want to scare yourself, try taking your BP about an 1/2 hour after you eat the ham. Love ham but just not something I can eat very often or very much of.. Very salt sensitive. I can feel my blood pressure rise and I have a normal BP (110/60}

Just writing it down helps me keep accountable, but if I don't write it down, my body lets me know I cheated! Usually too late -- I already ate that! I'm enjoying all the research you are sending! Lots of good ideas!

Ham? Even though I love it, I've told my husband last year that we're not having that for Easter dinner anymore, or at any other time. We both treat for hypertension. Ham makes us retain water like crazy! My feet, ankles, and lower legs look like sausages!

Thanks to everyone who offered support, or commiserated! Some times, just getting out of bed without binging is a challenge!

Miraculum— I am so sorry for you and the others who have this binge issue. I know from listening to you all that it is real. Just keep doing what you are doing—.the very best you can. So many speak badly of the medical profession, but they know how real that change in your brain chemistry is and they are working very hard to to come up with something to correct the long term damage that has been done. Your help and support to others in your same situation is appreciated by everyone here.
