Before this week, my caloric intake was 1900-2400. I've obviously kicked that up a bit recently.

Here's the breakdown so far this week:

2967 (+300 surplus)
3540 (+587 surplus)
4158 (+416 surplus)
3071 (+468 surplus)

Given all these surplus-y numbers, I'm still losing weight. This just shows that even if I increased these to 8000 calories in, as long as I'm not adding too much of a surplus, the fat should stay at bay 👌.

It's not about how many calories you eat... it's about the balance between what you eat and what you burn.

Wanna eat more? Move more!
Don't wanna move more? Eat less!

I think it's easy to attribute your failures and successes to whatever you like to do. So if Keto rocks their world and they are losing...it's obviously because of keto. Keto didn't work for me (mostly because I LOVE my carbs), but my doctor said "do what works" and then we tried all sorts of fun things. And then he said (after we tried all those fun things) "do you want to eat all the foods you love but smaller portions or do you want to lose some of those foods and eat more??" I chose both!!! And honestly this is working for me...mostly...until I screw up. But the thing that I'm learning is that my WOE isn't completely CICO either...sometimes I lose when I expected to gain and sometimes I gain when I expected to lose. This makes me think that, at least for me, some of those things do apply. I seem to do worse at lower calories and higher carbs than I would have expected but I also seemed to do better at higher calories and higher carbs so....lol who knows?!?!?! I'm just trying to stop eating what makes me feel bad and gain weight. And so far...it's working...even when I whine that I'm not doing right, I'm not really gaining it back. I just keep losing and gaining that same 1-2 pounds and I don't keep going down. So it works for me. And this seems to be the best diet I've ever been on.

I just noticed the profile pic. Nice beard btw. Now, this concept of eating more and losing is attributed to moving more?!? I'm not sure this works. My weight dropped and I added calories but I think it is because of the unicorn dust I had in my cod and corn flake mixture. No?!? And 3 hour workouts?!? What the heck?

No scan in my future. Maybe measure, weigh every 2 weeks...maybe. Unicorn dust is a must though. I wish Katie would give me a key for: LOVE WOE CICO. I enjoy Sting and Beko but IDK if woe means woe like "Horse stop...dammit!!" hehehe...okay try the veal I'm here through the weekend.

I'm getting one upped! 3 hour workouts...I guess I do that on my two a days but 2 is usually all I've been doing on vacation. You're also creeping in my waters on the calories in department. Noice

Dang it...sorry Chris, I thought your - - >spell auto correct <- - was saying Hall and Oates. Now I understand. 180 minutes is a lot though. I think you can get the unicorn dust at Walmart (@G_ortegam) though it may say 'whey protein' just ignore the label. I'm pretty sure they are grinding down the unicorn's ?antler? into the dust.
