keto gal here 👛🙋 well, I think venting and ditching my loser doc helped me lose some stress and another pound. Ya. I hope I can get into 160s for March! I'm going for a long walk with my dog now. keto on my friends.
171.0 lb Lost so far: 59.0 lb.    Still to go: 56.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Been at it for 5 weeks and am down half my goal of 15 lbs. Counting calories and not adding in my exercise calories has been the difference.

Casey, Congratulations, it doesn't work for everyone, everyone is different with different medical and metabolic challenges. you are lucky , keep up the good work.

@adefwebserver YUP, you are correct. I am losing very slowly but I am losing! I just looked at my graph/weight and see I have been bouncing between 173 and 171 ALL of Jan and Feb. I am trying to figure out what I am doing that is stalling me. I should be able to lose at least 3-4 pounds a month even at a snails pace. I am thinking those few weeks in January where I didn't log my food (even though I was for sure keto) I probably ate too much. This month i am giving up cream cheese and no hard cheese. I will allow myself to cook with butter. I don't see any pattern to my calories. They are all over the place, but my fat and carb intake is fairly consistent! Sooooo. Who knows. Hopefully I will figure out what is slowing me down. Yupper I am losing, but I don't have forever! HAHA. I know I am ready start lifting again. I feel strong enough. Thanks for noticing i have been losing.

@jenjabba - When I looked at my numbers, I found a *direct correlation* between 'excess protein' and weight loss. I then started Googling it and Dr. Fung is on the record for saying that we don't get a 'pass' on Protein (https://idmprogram.com/how-much-protein-is-excessive/). He goes on to say, in other articles, that this is one of the key differences between Keto and the original Atkins diet.
