:( gaining...I don't mind when I only record my weight once a week but this daily posting sucks! Now you know how much I go up and down in a week...it's crazy! I do finally feel like I can start moving back to my WOE, mouth still hurts but I think I can manage now and it's mostly closed up so I should be okay. Maybe that will help lol.

Katie, you can only weigh once a week if you want. I hate seeing those lines that look like an EKG! My weight goes up and down EVERY day. Do what makes you comfortable, and what most contributes to your success!

Thanks Debbie but you know me I'm a stubborn little #$@%, I like to do the whole deal lol! I'll keep it up, it's good to push yourself sometimes. I just have to watch that I don't push back because I pushed too hard! I think that is kind of what has been going on. It takes me a little bit to "decide" that I'm tired of having to say I failed! I'll just keep trying and failing until I accidentally succeed! Funny way to do it but it seems to work for me!!

Don't worry about the daily weigh-in. I find that you will be able to catch any problem early. Also looking at the subtle up and downs desensitize you so your mind does not anticipate a straight downward pattern.

For me, posting daily, makes the difference. Hard to pin down exactly why it works for me, but not posting, definitely allows me to 'get off track' and really get out of control.

I agree with all the comments above. Also, retention of water and so many other variables play into the daily weight. Just caring about the daily or weekly weigh ins and tracking food and exercise will keep you focused. Keep moving and be mindful of your choices and challenge yourself to stay on whatever program you're on. Persistence and Patience!

I used to go up and down every single day, it is normal. Now in maintenance I also go up and down every day. Fluctuations are normal

Don’t weigh every day if it bothers you. I don’t as it would upset me.

I go up and down every day. but the graph is still going down. 📉 don't weigh every day if it's driving you bonkers

I weigh daily as well. If it's down, yippee!! If it's up - then I pay more attention. Water weight is key. Don't forget - unless you ate an extra 3,500 calories yesterday - it can't be stored fat. So, relax. You're paying attention and doing great! : )

I have a three pound variant, meaning 1.5 either way. I’m happily holding right now. I weigh every day (mostly) but I don’t log it unless it stays the same over three days - up or down. Keeps me sane.
