Day 1 of a planned 3 days of eating
Blood sugar 105 mg/dL

…aaaaand we are ‘eating solid food again’…

I have not had a single day of ‘eating right’ this year. So, I’m giving up on that one 😊

My goal over this three day weekend is to limit my weight gain as much as possible before I start my usual ‘no solid food’ fast on Tuesday (I usually start on Monday, but, it is a holiday).

While I am “unable”/”not willing” to just eat low carb, I know, from my past behavior, that I am willing to *exercise a lot*.

So this is my plan:

🏃🏾 Run 7 miles each day
🏋🏾 Lift weights 2 out of three days

Then just ‘accept the consequences’ and move on 😊

169.0 lb Lost so far: 38.0 lb.    Still to go: 5.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Adef, sometimes it's hard to stay on one plan, so it's good that you're switching things up a bit. I know SoCal needs the rain, but the rain keeps me from spending time outdoors, so I'm not too thrilled about it.

I do lots of activities, but my big love is swimming and thank goodness the water is warm, and it is less than half a mile from my house. I think we are going to get a chance to dry out now for a few days.

Update: Did the 7 mile run in 75 minutes and did my squats and deadlifts in the gym. Intraday weight has me at 166 pounds, but, it will not hold until tomorrow morning because I am about to pound down a ribeye steak... 😎 Life is Good!
