Day 2 of a planned 2 days of β€˜no solid food’ fasting
Blood sugar 88 mg/dL

πŸ‘πŸΎ I lost 7 pounds in 3 days.

🌊 Water fasting may take β€˜work’ (breaking the habit of eating ANYTHING when my emotions and boredom go up and down during the day takes β€˜mental work’), but, darn if it isn’t effective 😊

What seems to work is 'water fasting' only the first two days, and then drinking 900 calories and 15 carbs of πŸ₯› Protein Shakes the other days. I also made sure I πŸƒπŸΎ ran at least 3 miles or hit the gym for πŸ‹πŸΎ weight lifting each day.

My goal now is to not gain a lot of weight back this weekend. There is a birthday celebration and an expensive dinner planned on Sunday. Yeah I β€˜could’ just β€˜act right’ but, I am able to fast during the week because I know I will be able to eat anything I want on the weekends.

My plan is to run and workout with weights on Saturday. I *may* be able to avoid gaining a pound. This way I can afford a 2-3 pound gain on Sunday.

Monday, back to the diet. This time I may try to water fast on Monday, and then β€˜no solid food fast’ the rest of the week (meaning, I will allow myself as many Protein Shakes, in heavy cream, as I want throughout the day).

Yes, it's hard what we do, it's why not everybody loses weight or maintain a weight loss.
