Day 1 of a planned 2 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting
Blood sugar 90 mg/dL

As @JimmiePop says: "Fasting is fastest" :)

Second day of ‘water fasting’ took ‘actual mental work’. It is was totally ‘mental’. The desire to ‘consume something’ is stronger on the second day. This is not to be confused with ‘hunger’, which for me only occurs during the period of blood sugar dropping.

I went on a 3 mile run before work and did a one hour walk at lunch. I only drank Decaf Green Tea (with granulated Splenda) during the day. I also take Hi-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate in the morning and the afternoon.

At night I decided to have a Protein shake. I was not hungry at all, just tired of not consuming anything but water :)

I plan to go to the Gym on today so I plan to consume about 1200 calories in Protein Shakes.

I plan to break the fast on Friday and eat normally on the weekend.

Hope you have a good day. It is super cold where I am today. I may have to go to the gym (rather than doing my walking and running outdoors). Glad you saw a loss.

@jengetfit123 - For me, the Protein Shakes are really just a way for me to keep my carbs and calories down. Doesn't hurt with the weight lifting, but, since I'm not in a 'bulk' period, its really just a case of "drink a protein shake" or 'eat and possibly 'binge'"

@tahoebrun, @HCB - Thanks! Yesterday was a day of *stellar* results :) Today I started back on the Protein shakes so who know what tomorrow will bring... Haha
