Another day with 100% followed.

I am down a kg since yesterday, and doing super well. I have no sugar urges, and things are great.

I had my 5th teaching session last night, and even though they didn't really lose a lot (actually, average weight went up a little), they had some massive break throughs and really got talking. They - and I - loved it!

This is what I want my class to be, but it will probably always take some sessions before people start opening up.

Life is good!
193.6 lb Lost so far: 148.2 lb.    Still to go: 6.2 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

What did you decide to teach?

Thanks, for asking. I got completely sidetracked at work, so I had no chance to prepare. However, what was needed at the session was a talk about motivation. I took that one, and we talked about finding our inner drive, digging deep and trying to realize what we wanted to accomplish from losing weight. Deeper than "being healthy" or "wear a bikini". We all have some much deeper reasons, and by digging into them, we find our motivation.

Great news that you feel you're back on track. Me too :) How often do we have to lapse into old patterns of behaviour even though we know the damage we're doing? That might be a good topic for your group - perseverance. Also calorie counting, making healthy choices, being honest with yourself (journalling), starting to exercise, combatting boredom....

Your class sounds like a cool idea. :) Have fun teaching! Glad you mentioned sugar cravings. I've been having them like crazy and giving in. Your journal is such a nice reminder that they are not always a part of the day. Hope in sight! Thanks.
