Final weigh in for the contest was today...I lost a total of 5 pounds in 6 weeks! Wow! I so had hopes of at least 20. I got as high as 9 but when I stopped working out...eating right is just not enough. At least I have five less to worry about!
287.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 16.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

For me it's all about life style and how long I want to live! Eat wrong, clog veins! Eat right, feel right, live longer. I find that the weight is my secondary goal. When I went to the cardio doctor and he took a scan of my arteries and found 30-40% plague I was shocked. It motivated me to do doing something about my eating habits. In one month I dropped almost 16 lbs but more significate I lower my lipid count by 50%. I want to live to see 90 and my great grand children. Heart disease is the NUMBER ONE killer of women! mostly overweight women with wrong eating habits. Do this for your life not a diet!

F-I-V-E pounds is a beginning! Congradulations! I know how hard it is. I too want to live as long as I can. I have toooo much to live for, as you do. So let's go for a walk or march( I use to do that with my grand-daughter and "Barney"!OOOOO!!) But I was moving! Keep the faith! You can do it! Why, I won't even recognize you in Heaven, you will have lost so much weight!
