My tummy and other gastro pipeworks have been in major over drive yesterday... so I stepped on the scale to see what kind of result it would have on my weight. I am trying to drink water down as fast as I can...because my body was dumping sumptin'. (Overshare?)
Ya'll ... I went from 301.2 yesterday to 298.6 today. I am selfishly logging it as a weight because I hate that "gaining 2 lbs a week" thingy! I normally restrict my weigh ins to Sunday/Wednesday.

Thanks for all the great tips on the cramps. I was up last night walking one out. they really were rough last night...and I know that is not normal. Calcium? and here I thought I would get enough thru cream and cheese. :) I will definately try that and the dble dose of potassium.



298.6 lb Lost so far: 43.4 lb.    Still to go: 78.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I wish my pipes would get in working order lol! I have had the opposite problem since starting this diet. I only had muscle cramps my first few days of Atkins. I would say drink plenty of water and get a multivitamin. Low Potassium can definately cause muscle cramps. When I was pregnant I would wake up screaming in pain. I would get one in my calf and it felt like someone was twisting a knife around in my leg. Those were the bad ones that left you sore the next day. Hope they get better.

Kudos on the loss! That is wonderful. Another thing that does help for the cramps is avocado. Just eating 1/4 of them will bring on nearly instant relief. Hope your belly starts feeling better.

FD, the weight loss is awesome, but I am sooo sorry that you are having such trouble with your pipes and the leg cramps. Hope the suggestions from the book help!
