I am starting Phase 1 today!!!

Unexplained nausea that is keeping me from eating anyway...
Now I am ready!

The thing is my mind has been on everything but weight loss. I cannot say that I am unhappy but I have been down a lot. Every time we seem to get ahead, we slip backwards. This cycle is slowly killing me. Okay not really but omygoodness will it never end? I need some space to breath and catch up! Okay rant over!

In honor of my new start and because I need ideas for journaling, each day I will have a theme. Mondays will be motivational. Thursdays will be things I am thankful for. Any ideas on the other days I will gladly copy, lol ;)

1. My little boy and wanting to be able to be an active part of his life.

2. We are having a mini family reunion and I am more then a little embarrassed by my weight gain. I hope to lose twenty pounds by father's day or at least look like I did, lol.

so happy to see you here this morning. I look for a day to celebrate the little stuff- things we take for granted , small pleasures...thursdays sound good. My mom just told me aa story about a friend of hers who always complained about her husband snoring and how she could never get any sleep. The friend's husband died and not only was she still not sleeping but she missed him and missed the snoring and realized he was neveer the problem and had griped at him for years....I'm pretty sure Mom was griping about something when her friend reminded her to be grateful...so a grateful day sound like a great idea. what about a day to celebrate you-???how wonderful you are. oh and by the way look at your chart- you've lost 14pounds- be proud!!!!!

I can't think of different themes for each day but I know it is helpful to make yourself write down 5 things at the end of the day that your are grateful for about that day. It makes us focus on the little things that we so often take for granted or overlook. We all have so much to be thankful for. We just need to change our focus. I can identify with how you feel right now. I have been feeling the same unexplained funk. But you have great ideas already for pulling yourself out of it and I know you will be successful! You can do this! We can do this! Thanks for the extra motivation. I needed it!

Wednesdays could be for willpower! Reaffirm why weight loss efforts are continued and that it can be done! You have been doing great, and will continue to do great!

it's already been said, but... you have lost 14 pounds and that in itself is an accomplishment. After all you weigh less, you are on the right track and you can still win this war. Maybe its the change of weather but lately a lot of people seem to be feeling a little down. Hopefully these pass and it does help to focus on the positives, so you have the right idea. You are smart and you are already taking steps to improve your body AND your mind. So pat yourself on the back, pick yourself up and let go grill some burgers outside, sit out in the evening with a cold glass of something you like and rejoice. You can do it

Yeah, great idea! Monday=motivation, Tuesday=how about "Treat"--a special, non-food related treat that we can give ourselves; Wednesday=willpower, Thursday= being thankful, Friday=how about "Fear"--overcoming or tackling a new Fear each week??
