Today is a fasting day. Last meal was at 6pm last night, then I will break the fast tomorrow at noon, 42 hours.
Tomorrow is an eating day. One thing I have learned that when doing alternate day fasting, it is critical to eat enough on feasting days. I will always eat low carb, high fat, but even still, for women, sometimes it is difficult to get enough fat - thus The Fat Bomb. These look super yummy, but are not conventional. They are 100% Keto. They are taken at the end of the meal, since snacking is a major no no. Low, fat/protein will still stimulate insulin when ingested, so no snacking. The goal for me is to keep insulin very low to heal insulin resistance and regain insulin sensitivity.

1/2 Cup Coconut Oil, 1/4 Cup Peanut Butter, 1/4 Cup Grass Fed Butter, 3 Tablespoons of Cocoa Powder, 1 Tablespoon of Swerve (mostly a fermented sugar called erythritol with a glycemic load of 1 vs. say maltodextrin at 110). Swerve can cause bloating but it is such a small qty/fat bomb, and it has a little bit of a crunch like table sugar which is oddly very satisfying.

I put each item in a measuring cup, and microwave for 30 secs here and there as needed until it is a smooth liquid, and then pour the mixture into silicone molds (found at my bulk store), and then into the freezer. I keep mine in the freezer. They are super duper amazing.

They look super amazing. I admire your fasting ability. I am not quite ready to do that. Maybe I will give it a go one day. I do IF quite a bit. I think that it is making me lose a lot of body fat. So for now that is fine

Kaylinrenee, that is a good question! Last night on a feasting day I did in fact have 2 of the smaller ones and one of the bigger ones, probably more than I should have, but I just let them melt in my mouth, savour it and chill. Remember the fat is incredibly satiating!!! and there is no bullshit sugar or other fake high fructose garbage to stimulate cravings, it really does help keep me calm and satisfied. There would be a big difference if it was a box of store-bought poison chocolates.
