Keep it up. Just an idea.. I know many including myself that were able to get off blood pressure meds by not eating carbs. Two weeks no/very low carb and i dropped all meds. It was really amazing. Just a thought. But glad you got the meds you need.

Well sorry to hear all this, especially the BP. I have hereditary BP & will probably never get off them completely, my goal is to not have to increase the dosage. Also sorry you're working XMas Eve, hope your evening & tomorrow are merry & bright!

Thanks jenjabba. I am ok with the meds for now and clearing my mind and working on finding that balance. Thanks Taurielfan. There is a chance I maybe on BP meds for ever and I too am hoping on keeping the dose as low as possible. Have a merry & bright one as well. Thanks HCB. If if take a little stomach bug to reset my system, I'll take it LOL.

Chesgreen— I would not even consider vigorous exercise until that pressure is controlled. I’m sure you are very well aware of your ethnic predisposition for hypertension. Don’t be discouraged if you have to keep taking them. Just be grateful that modern medicine has them available for you. I can’t remember if you have diabetes or not but that is the kicker to manage and the number one motivator for staying on this journey. If you are on Keto and eat high salt— well, you know the drill.
