The scale is still moving in the right direction…

Really happy with the progress this week. If I can drop another three pounds by Saturday I would have reached my goal for the week. This would give me a 10 pound ‘cushion’ for the Holiday weekend. Hopefully this will be enough. If I hit 178lbs, no matter what point I am in the Holidays, I will declare a fast!

I plan to do a 🏃🏾 5 mile run this morning and then go to the 🏋🏾 gym tonight. Running saps my strength for ‘lifting heavy’ at the gym, but, it is more important for me to shed fat than to build muscle.

@kaylinrenee - I only drink Protein drinks and Green tea and water. The problem with smoothies is I can make one at 1200+ calories. No matter how low I keep my carbs, if my calories go over 1500 I-will-not-lose-weight :(

My 2nd question was going to be what you keep your calories at for the liquid diet. I just have this personal notion that liquid calories are a waste of calories

@kaylinrenee - If I were drinking soda that would be a 'wasted calorie' but, I drink a Quest Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder with Heavy Whipping Cream (300 calories - 3 carbs). It is the 'most efficient' *nutrients for the calorie* I can think of :) I don't think my body cares if the calories are liquid or solid :) - - However, the *only* reason I am doing this is to prevent 'binging' on solid food. If I didn't 'binge' I would just 'eat' my 900 calories :)

@jenjabba - The "Christmas fest" starts on Saturday night and lasts 4 days! So my fast ends Friday night, re-starts on Saturday morning, and ends Saturday night.

@Becc@ - Thanks! I basically found the secret, my limit is 'how long' I am doing pushups, not 'how many' I am doing.
