Day 2 of a planned 5 day ‘no solid food’ fast

51 pushups 2019 PUSH UP Challenge (Overall leaderboard)

The trick to doing a lot of pushups is to do them fast. When you feel like slowing down... don't :) Just keep doing them as fast as you can...

Hmmm I'm UP a pound? Well, I did not run or go to the gym yesterday. I also drank a ton of heavy cream in my protein drink. I also had a hot chocolate... Basically, calories and carbs were high and I did not exercise...

Let's see what today brings. However, due to scheduling I wont get to the gym today either :(

Hope it works well but at some point that drink may backfire on you

@liv001 - The purpose of the drink is to prevent the binges that are triggered by solid food :)

OK I see. That is good then. I am also in the push up challenge. way behind you trying to work up my strength.

51 ! I can do 10 perfect style body weight dips going below 90 degrees, till my shoulders lock and my chest is about to tear apart but my very best push ups are only 21. My everyday ones are about 15 to 16. I always execute strict and in contrary to you slow. Maybe this is the explanation.

will have to try "fast" pushups! i tend to get tired faster too if i count. but then whats the point if you dont count and cant beat your "pr" lol

@srossca - Oh yeah *I* am the one 'binging' no doubt! :) I have tried sooo hard to 'control' my eating. I just can't do it :( I'm that guy who tries to diet, but, was always 'failing' and was fat. For-some-reason if I don't eat solid food I can keep the calories and carbs down.

@Tassos67 - If I went 'perfect style' I would have to start back down at 10 :) I make my nose hit the floor (I do this on carpet) and I push all the way up before going back down. Otherwise, my back is bending this way and that and my elbow position is moving in and out. A military drill instructor would keep telling me to 'start over' if they witnessed this 'travesty' :)
