Sloooow going! I'm still hanging in there but it's really slow going. I'm down to my last 5 pounds and I think losing them will be an eternity! My hubby is still losing on a steady basis and that's what is important. He is down to 193 but is only 5'9" so is still a bit overweight. He has all the issues that lead up to heart problems. Apple shape, high blood pressure, high cholesteral, seditary, stressful job... He's ready to quit but I keep telling him to do it for our kids. Hope he sticks with it. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink!!!
135.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 5.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

My hubby refuses to follow the diet officially. He will eat the meat dishes I make but not the veggies & I always have to make a starch side dish for his meal. The only thing I can get him to do is exercise with me sometimes. Maybe you can get your hubby to walk with you when the weather gets warmer? Good luck with your last 5 lbs...they are stubborn aren't they?!

Slow but steady wins the race...but I know how you feel. It's been a month and a half and only 5 stubborn pounds have come off. But better off than on.

I think it's great that you guys are doing this together. Having a diet partner at home to encourage you & keep you on track is important! Don't lose faith - those 5 lbs. will come off. :)
