42 pushups 2019 PUSH UP Challenge (Overall leaderboard)

So here is what happened… I had been working for two weeks on an article on how to make your own Amazon Alexa skill (for example I could use the Fat Secret API to log my food by voice). Well the stupid thing stopped working so all my work went down the drain.

This was very upsetting, so I had-to-do-something to deal with the ‘emotions’ so I stress ate. I was able to calm down enough to go on a run. However, because I started eating, when I had originally planned to fast, I went on a carb binge at the party and now I am up two pounds ☹

So, I am going to treat this like a ‘bulk’ and hit the gym hard for the next few days. We have another party planned today I am not going to even try to control myself. The ‘pounds’ are going to come. There is another company party on Thursday, so this messes up my weekly ‘no solid food fast’ that has been my ‘go to’ to always drop 4-5 pounds.

Well, the holidays will eventually pass, and I can get back to my regular way of eating. It just isn’t worth it to constantly beat myself up and be miserable over trying to control my weight during this period.

This morning I got the Amazon Alexa skill working so I will finish the article...

you can always go strict on the short week if you are overly concerned about the bulk, but I would not worry too much about it your work in the gym will benefit this week

I'm glad you are not beating yourself up.. I to have been to a few parties , with many more to go..Tonight is the West Palm Beach Chefs Holiday Awards banquet. So I'm sure I will be a LiL Piggy, then back to reality..Don't want to buy bigger clothes.. I'm taking your advice.and will try to handle it the best I can, and stay on IF.
