I'm losing weight thanks to the thyroid I think. I had the interview TODAY. it's not the perfect job, but the pay is good , the company is strong , better than I've ever made not being self employed. If I work hard, I will do well. I just hope it isn't a burnout job , inside sales calling . They are hiring 50 people and the current sales team is only 20 . I'm hoping it gets me to the next level of management and or outside sales . Has anyone taken an online sales assessment test, that's my next step . The interviewer told me to make sure I do well on it because he's had very good candidates do poorly and they didn't get hired. So I assume he thinks I'm a good candidate because he said that. If I get the job it startson January 7, yaaay.  

Fingers crossed for you! You must have done great in the interview so now go kill that test! 

amazon.jobs has some career stuff. Maybe you could be a learning coordinator with a teaching background. We have lots of options at amazon it just depends on you. Good luck!

Hmm you are now at your lowest recorded weight on Fat Secret. Is it too early to start with the "I told you so?" Hahha Yeah too early. I'll wait... 

Adefwebserver haha! It didn't come off till thyroid meds. Whoohoo. And nope. I was a member of fatsecret for YEARS. before they had an app, but I retired that account because it had my personal name in it. Sooo. My lowest weight in the last 4 years is about 148. I'm 175 now. I'm the same weight now as 3 years ago when I had my surgery. Yeah. Now I need to get to 140s. Then, to 130s. I was in 130s about 10 years ago. THEN THEN THEN... THANKS 

The interview went well, the pay is decent, the job is fine, but then they had me take a workforce sales personality questionnaire. Who thought up this crap. If I failed the questionnaire I don't get the job , I felt like I was doing my SATs back in 1984 again . It's silly you can't even meet somebody in person before they turn you down. I'll let everyone know what happens. If I do get the job it starts January 7 , in downtown Atlanta into beautiful new buildings for their corporate headquarters with a gym and restaurants kind of like a Google headquarters. 

I have experience both taking and giving a wide variety of sales aptitude assessments. Most are rubbish (IME) or simply not particularly useful. Caliper is not rubbish. Exceptionally useful for both sales, sales leadership, and leadership in general. Good luck!  

I wish you the best of luck! I've done a lot of teaching and have toyed with the idea of teaching online but haven't done so for a lot of the reasons you've listed. Hopefully you'll get this interview! 

Hi Jen, I’d actually like to know how you got the online teaching job. Do you need a degree? Also, I’m having a blood test on Friday for my thyroid. Are you on medication the doctor prescribed? Thanks!
