Day 2 of a planned 5 day ‘no solid food’ fast
Blood sugar 92 mg/dL

30 pushups 2019 PUSH UP Challenge!

Rule #1: I cannot control anything or anybody. I can ‘influence’ things, but I cannot ‘control’. I cannot control my weight, and I cannot control my emotions.

I have, for DECADES, tried to eat 1200-1500 calories a day for multiple days. I can barely make a day. I stayed obese all my adult life until I STOPPED doing this. I am not a ‘failure’ Rule #1 tells me that I can only ‘try’ I cannot *make something happen*.

The definition of ‘humility’ is simply ‘seeing myself for who I truly am’, *not* who I *want* to be. What I truly am, is a mortal human being with limited abilities. Yes, I can ‘fly’ but I need ‘help’ such as a ‘hang glider’.

For me, 'no solid food fasting' is my 'hang glider'.

😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

You're at 30 already!! Are you supposed to add one every day? If so, for how long? Way to go - enjoy your fasting hang glider - whatever works for you, is best for you!!

@Nikeit - Yes the plan is to increase the pushups each day :) I think that because I am doing them everyday it has not been a problem. It is still a major effort, but I think I can make it up to 50...

I could not do a pushup when I was a teenager! I'm afraid if I tried one now I'd hurt myself. Good for you tho!
