I still can't seem to get the 64 oz of water in every day. I guess I'm going to have to resort to forcing myself to drink more water. I know how important this is. I haven't tried the idea of setting my phone alarm and that may be the best idea. I only lost a very small amount of weight this week 0.1 pound. That is very frustrating to me since I've been following my diet and even keeping below my calorie limit. The only thing I can think that might be causing a lag in my weight loss is that I eat late at night. I'll have to start limiting the time in which I eat I guess. I tend to be a night owl--always have. I guess that is my downfall. I'll have to retrain myself to go to bed earlier and get up earlier to avoid the late night eating. I guess this is good to learn about myself and to retrain myself.
341.0 lb Lost so far: 14.0 lb.    Still to go: 201.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I am Also a night wl who likes to eat. I have found that gum helps alot. it helps prevent the mindless eating.as for the water, i try to drink 8 oz of water with every meal including snacks. I tell myself nothing elseto drink uny water is gone. I hope this might be of some help. Good luck

Thanks for the tips. I like the gum idea. I will try that when I feel the urge to eat late at night. I usually only drink water except for my protein shakes. Sometimes I do add crystal light to my water, but this still doesn't seem to help me get in the fluids. I guess I'm not much of a fluid drinker, but I worry I misinterpret thirst for hunger. I am on a diuretic so it's important for me to get in the fluids.

Also drink more water when your done working out cause that's when your most thirst.

I hear you. I HATE water. I only enjoy it on a hot day and even that is a stretch. People say to me... ''Oh drink it with lemon, Oh water will make you feel full.....Oh water is the best thing for you.'' It still doesn't change the fact that I hate water. So I choose to drink water under the disguise of ice green tea, aspartame free low cal sodas and juices. :D Maybe someday it will grow on me.
