Blood sugar 87 mg/dL

Don't know why I gained a pound. I only ate between 6:00pm and 9:00pm and I also ran 5 miles. I only consumed 1400 calories, But, I consumed 44 carbs. I can't lose weight on that.

Today will not be a weight loss day because we plan to go to the Cheesecake Factory for "Date Night". I plan to do OMAD (One Meal A Day) but that may not happen if, when I go to my parent's to move furniture, my mother wants to sit and talk and feed me :) She enjoys the ritual, and I don't see her often enough. I'm not going to pull some BS "I have to fast" with her when I plan to eat tonight anyway :)

The body looks great in the mirror, so I am not worried that I am getting fat. I think that when my weight is in the 160's (even barely), I am 'mentally' fine with it.

sounds like you are going to have a great day and spending time with mom and not worrying about food or weight is great. the pound is probably water retention you have been working out. enjoy your treat day!

I've always used the excuse at family functions etc, "I'm not hungry, or I just ate" they leave me alone.. 😁 Logging ahead can keep you on track eating out. Then you don't have to find the new food..

Ha! I just peaked and was surprised you didn't have cheesecake on there! I would probably endulge and have some broccoli with butter and a bite of my husbands baked potato. but the only reason I would be going to the cheesecake factory would be to get cheesecake! I love mine loaded with fresh strawberries generally get that at longhorn steak house in the past. or better yet make are own at home. I do miss some of those things at time but ….. I don't need them

Sounds like a win to me! πŸ‘ Have a good time at date night. Do you go to The Cheesecake Factory at Santa Anita mall? If yes, maybe try Woodranch next door some time. It's one of my favorite restaurants. Good son move with letting your mother feed you. Major points earned. 😊

You’re doing great! Ya I agree the water is prolly from the carbs. Spend time with your family and take the day to enjoy yourself. Rarely do we get to do that. ❀️❀️❀️

Pre-logging! I love it! I went up 5# from my night out and drank tons of water (and just ate normally), and dropped it all within 2 days. Just don't over-compensate and drink lots of agua!

@nikeit, @Draglist, @Keilin_4, @g_ortegam, @chrisw77 - Mom ended up making me clean out her garage for 4 hours. I had to miss my workout to do it, however, I am so exhausted I feel I burned more calories :) She offered to feed me but she was wiped out too, and I knew she wanted to lay down, so I declined.

@baskington - I considered the Cheesecake, but the good thing about logging before is you can make a objective decision. Just-don't-need-it :) We are going because we were given gift cards.

At 1400 calories and 5 miles, your body may think your starving. In starvation mode you won't lose an ounce. Gotta eat enough to keep all systems functioning.
