Standard third day post workout drop. 🏋️‍♂️ I didn’t think my workout was long enough or hard enough to cause much of a fluid gain. Looks like I was wrong. I’ve been around 130 for over three weeks now. At what I consider maintenance calories, below maintenance calories for FS and above maintenance calories for online calculators when sedentary is selected. I was slowly losing at this level or a bit higher (1500/1600ish). So perhaps this is a plateau or my metabolism adapted to a new lower BMR because I’m at a lower weight than I was a month or two ago. I was having a few higher kcal days then but I was also working out twice a week or more. Starting to get bored and irritated with 130. Will consider cutting back to 1300 per day to get around 125. It should take me 10-14 weeks at 1300 without working out. Therefore I’ll have to add in workouts as much as possible. This would mean making 125 in 6-10 weeks if no muscle is gained.

I would stop here, however I still have some cute clothes I can’t wear, too much fat from mid thigh to waist, I want to see how much muscle I can gain as time allows and I’d really like to see 110-120 on the scale again just once in my 30’s. Probably not feasible but I’m only about one size away from what I was wearing at 120.

I’ve realized that I can’t fit into the 1-3/small clothes AND my 5-6/medium clothes at the same time. I’m at the latter currently and some of the jeans are a bit loose. If I can wear the smaller sizes comfortably then the bigger sizes would be too loose and baggie. After all I do have a kid who pulls at my clothes to get my attention and I’d hate for the jeans to drop as she tugs if in public haha. So I guess I need to find the boxes of smaller clothes. Then I can try them on and see which set (1/3 or 5/6) is cuter or that I’d rather wear.

So your weight goal depends upon which set of clothes are cuter? That's so cute! :)

well it is a good goal, we all like to see ourselves in smaller sizes. I have a lot of jeans a size smaller too. weight might be different than you think if you are working out, the important part is fitting into the clothes right?

@baskington YES! The number is important to see once but I don’t need to stay 120 or less. Most of us usually get sick after one holiday gathering so I’ll lose 5# those two days lol. I can weigh myself during that period to see the 120 I guess haha.

LZ yep pretty much 👍 Also the amount of clothes. Pretty sure I have more 1-3 than 5/6, but if by size, 1, 3 or 5 then there’s probably more of the 5’s. With reconstruction I doubt I can fit most small shirts so I need to dig them out and see ;). Plus after three kids my body may be a different shape and not fit the smaller sizes.

Lol ‘waste not want not’ is something I just heard recently yet it’s how I’ve always lived. Plus I find clothes I like and by the time I need another set/pair they quit making them! I have old clothes for laying around or yard work and all my good stuff is worn only when I have appointments or have to be in public for whatever reason. It’s nothing to have my dresses last 15+ years, jeans 5-10 years and T-shirt’s it just depends. I still have my senior shirt from 1998-1999! It now has a tiny pin sized hole so it’s old now. They just made things better back then! I have jeans from 2000-2004 before my first kid that I’ve only been able to wear off and on over the years. I have some of moms cute sundresses that have come back into style. She wore those when I was in middle school so 1991-1994. I could buy more but I like ‘my’ clothes lol.
