jenjabba's Journal, 26 October 2018

I really expected to gain since that's my motto these days LOL. I'm in the 170s AGAIN. I'LL TAKE IT. I'm the same weight I around September 15, since then I've moved from 179-183 multiple times. enough to drive me bonkers.

last few days my calories were higher, about 1375-1400. I was so hungry yesterday, I Grazer on good pulled pork from me crock pot. I fought off massive cravings last night. donuts and cake were seriously on my mind. I didn't give in. I woke up to a dream I joined the army and was fed a chicken patty with some odd bread coating. I pulled it off. it was just bizarre. ok, keto on everyone. this next week will be ground beef and pulled pork.

I'm new to this web-site and forum deal. I started Keto two days ago at the recommendation of my daughter and son-in-law. I noticed your calorie count/day. I'm having trouble, mentally, with the smaller portions needed to fit into the calorie limit, while still keeping the fat-protein-carb percentages in line. I suppose it gets easier with time.

to145 there are a lot of meal idea's on here and online if you search for keto meals. it may give you idea's. lots of leafy veggies loaded with a fatty add on that does not have sugar is a winner. if you like deviled eggs make up a bunch with a generous amount of a mayo like dukes which is sugar free. fry your food in butter or olive oil, zuchinni sauted in garlic is a nice side dish or slice sideways and scoop out the middle to make a sandwich filled with salmon or tuna loaded with mayo, so many options

To 145, hang in there, after a month you'll get it. Basically, don't count calories, I eat a lot typically. Just don't eat carbs! Plan all your meals around fatty meats, bacon, steak, pork, butter, salmon, don't skimp and your body WILL ADJUST and tell you when your full. 99% of people can do it that way. My body is very very stubborn. I have auto immune issues which requires me to play around with food and calories my first few months I just as ate anything no/low carb. Cheese, full fat, no proceeded foods, eggs, egg salad, chicken salad, fried chicken, I love it in butter, you just need to totally commit! That A1c will come down, you will lose weight. Only track to have a reference of what your doing at first, 20 carb max rule! Follow it, no matter what, you'll do great

I think we all have our, "not so great" weeks. How we deal with them is a learning experience. You have this under control girl, you got this!!!!

Ginger Dog, I would have gained weight if I had your dream. Ha Ha! Jenjabba, are you eating 20 net carb max or 20 total carb max?

Happy for you :)

Mom 2 boxer, I count total carbs, I did zero carb for a month, now I'll allow myself 20 total to see how it goes. I don't like to add carbs. I strongly believe total carbs should be counted, then see how you're body responds.

Gingerdig, wouldn't it be great if we could dream about sweets, wake up and not want them during the day !
