Darn! I was hoping to finally see a loss this morning. After 4 days of the same weight it seems like something should give.

Today is our big Thanksgiving meal. I am ready for it! I have the turkey ready to stuff. My sister is bringing some split wood over for the wood stove. Hope to have the bird in by 9 am. I need to prep the potatoes and carrots. I'll start making the buns by 2pm. The pies were finished yesterday - they look great. The yam is cooked. The cranberries are made and in the frig. I think I've got it! Supper for 9 people.

Generally I can make a plan around Thanksgiving supper not to go too far over in calories. It is easy also to just dig in. My plan is to eat reasonably. Tomorrow if the scale hasn't moved up I will be satisfied with the same number for day 5!
263.0 lb Lost so far: 5.5 lb.    Still to go: 93.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thank you for the well wishes. Yes, I am in Canada. In fact, Highland Heather, do you remember Dixonville --- a small hamlet on the way to Manning? I live just outside of it. You must have lived in the South End. Nice area of town. I worked as a principal in Peace River. It is beautiful country. We are not off the grid -- just do our Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys in the wood stove because it is delish!
