If you look at your chart, this is normal for you. Since August you always gain every two weeks. However, your overall loss continues. Now me, no matter what I do I cannot seem to get any lower than 167 (sigh).

just remember that with carbs at the end of the week the calories matter , what if you do calorie cycling or IF 5:2 eat 500-800 calories 2 says of the week, so you can eat more the other days

My numbers aren’t very easy to track since I went off plan for about 2 weeks July 27(?) to August 7(?) and then again in September 8(?) to September 12th. This gain is from bingeing, food choices, not enough exercise for eating nearly 2k calories and my body is an asshole 🤣

I am suppose to be fasting 18 hours a day for 5 days and then for about 12 hours a day on the week end. I do have to lower my calories even further with carbs involved, not sure by how much yet. I kinda messed up my experiment (and also got answers to the other half of my experiment: I’m not really ready to eat carbs yet. Which worries me mostly because I’m going to get my cycle soon 😰) with all the poor, irresponsible choices I’ve made. If I had stuck to my plan of eating only healthy carbs then I’d be able to see how my body responded to them. But obviously eating honey chicken and cookies is going to be a problem for weight loss LOL

Try around 1500 calories per day for a week, I was losing one pound a week with that. Now I don't know. I am trying 1700- 1800

OMAD is great if you find hard to stop eating

Remember, with carbs comes a little water weight. Which again, is not the enemy.

@CrashtestDawnie - In my opinion, ALL numbers you have a 'valid and important'. Had I not gained 10lbs in September I would not have had data to compare to when I lost weight. There is a LOT of conflicting 'advise' out there. YOUR results are the only thing that matters.

… also I don't feel your choices were 'poor or irresponsible'. Getting arrested is 'poor and irresponsible', but, having a bag of cookies is normal human behavior. Yes, we wish we were not like that, and had more 'self control' but who do you know has 'total self control' in 'all aspects' of their life?

1500 is too much. At least it was before. And definitely when I was eating cico (low calorie during the week and cheats through out the weekend) and working out 3 days a week (and working freight). My fit bit hr said I was usually between 2800-3200 calorie burn and I’d only lose if I ate well bellow 1000 calories (calories for the week: 7000). By my resting heart rate, I should burn 14-1500 calories by just being alive lol I’ve noticed that my body seems to be more efficient burning calories than before losing so much weight. That is probably the “fat adaption” from keto or/and avoiding insulin spikes with IF. The percentage of weight I lose each week is higher or the same, even though I don’t go up and down ladders and lift heavy boxes half the day and I don’t go to the gym anymore. But I still eat about a 1000 calories a day (calories for the week: 7000). Wish I still had a fit bit

I never even considered that... does your resting heart rate affect your calories out?

Very true Adef as bad as it was yesterday, it could actually have been much worse! And I don’t do drugs, smoke, and I rarely ever drink so at least I have self control over those things 😅 I also have not cursed out a single customer! Which I get complemented for on a regular basis by other waiting customers 😆😆😜

Fiolog that is how Fitbit calculates how many calories you burn. They take all your personally specks and your heart rate and average out how much your body must be burning to get your heart pumping at that rate

Also your resting heart rate.

you can just go on from here. you have needed to eat more calories for a while now going too low for too long does long term damage, believe me I know. whether you pick 1200 or 1500 try to go for your original game plan of omad and balanced meal. I did not have a problem with potato's spiking anything so you may have that as a safe option, sweet potato has more protein in it but it also has more sugar(maybe trigger). whole brown rice in limited forms may be good along with limited black beans I bet you could find a nice recipe for those two which can be made up and stored to add a little to each meal. I love red beans and rice if it is spicey. it takes a whole different mind set to figure out balance ratio's when you play into carbs. I am confident with planning you can do it.

I definitely forgot how involved planning out meals are when you are eating carbs. Keto is stupid simple. I didn’t even need to log anymore. Just weight it out. Routine, or habit I guess. Before I started keto I was all over the place with macro ratios. Never knew what I should be eating. Keto is so structured, it made it easy. *sigh* Today is day 7 and I forgot that I should get my cycle on the 10th so that is probably why my cravings are ridiculous and Im honestly scared to go through my crazy hormone fluctuations while attempting to eat carbs in moderation. I need to go shopping but I don’t know if I will have the “want” to fight myself not to buy key lime pie 😒😞 It’s better to not buy it all than to try not to eat half of it in one evening.

Remember that you just started back with carbs so it may take your body some time to adapt - hang in there because you are so good at figuring this out for yourself!
