😳 uhhhh 😳 up another pound. This gaining a pound a day messes with my head. The ONLY things I can think of is my body holding onto waste OR retaining water OR delayed swelling?? Weighed at bedtime last night. I do this occasionally just to see how much I fluctuate in a day. I usually drop a couple pounds over night. 139.4 last night! THAT almost had me a basket case. However by that time I was exhausted. Too tired to worry lol. 8 hours sleep so I’m well rested and can worry today haha. Ugh time for google!
137.0 lb Lost so far: 23.6 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Just inspect ur diet. What has change? Are you measuring ur food? Make sure u are not eating more calories than what u think u are

Eh I had surgery Wednesday. Had some swelling/fluid retention when I got him but it increased each day until today. I’m guessing this is from swelling. I’m still logging everything. Kids have some ‘puppy chow’ and I stole a handful and not sure how to log that. Everything else has been measured and logged. 😁

Yeah it’s the surgery. I’m not really worried but the numbers mess with my head and I have to remind myself that it’s not a true gain. :)

We need strong minds for all this, and like you, the weight fluctuations do mess up my head. This is part reason for me now taking a couple of weeks off the scales, to focus more on being satiated and energized. Hoping this will act as a strengthening-of-mind exercise, to better be able to go in for an body fat attach in near future. Looking back, I've done this a few times before. Mention this, since this post surgery time might be a good time to be extra nice to yourself, for a more sure heal-well. Once you're at full power again, I feel sure you get the super power needed to do really well.

Lock the scales away for a week. :D Much more important things to thing about at the moment... like resting... not flying about like superwoman. :D

I like routine and I’ve weighed myself daily all month. With 2 days left I can’t stop now ;). I plan to average all the numbers and begin to think of that number a smu September weight. I believe this will help me as I wont focus so much on the ups and downs. However when it’s a daily 1# jump I have to google and sure myself it’s normal ;).

Rest? What’s that? Oh yeah, it’s that thing I do at night. 😁 I am resting. Today I took kids to town so we could shop and youngest could meet paw patrol. That took about 2 hours. The rest of the day I’ve thrown in one load of laundry (in the dryer and not folding it), played a game, read some of my book and talked on the phone for 4 hours. I’ve more than made up for my activity the last few days I think ;). I plan to read some more, have a protein snack later and probably go to bed early if this headache insists on sticking around. Allergies are taking more out of me than surgery. I’ve been tempted by the weights so I moved them where I couldn’t see them. Oh and I did 10 ‘girl’ push-ups just to test and see what hurt. Twinge in the right side where the bruising is but otherwise fine. This gives me hope that next week I can add in some light home workouts without causing issues. Makes it easier to lay around this weekend :). Next week is slow so won’t be doing anything except housework, cooking, one appointment and a lunch date with a friend. And bugging everyone on here of course 😁🤪.
