Aloha Everyone,

I've had a great couple of weeks, celebrating my 56th revolution around the sun recently.

An Aloha Festival just happened to be on my birthday weekend! My Sweetie and I had a great time.

Every year I am asked to perform the opening blessing with a chant and prayer. This year was so much better than last year in terms of my health and ability to stand without looking like a big water-drenched mattress. My breathing has also remarkably improved.

And there was cake! My favorite is Fruit Basket, white cake with fruity goodness and whip cream. I kept it under control, enjoying a few pieces without overdoing it.

We went out to a Japanese restaurant and again, I did fairly well with the rice consumption, something I have been limiting.

I am happy with my recorded weight given all that I experienced and enjoyed.
