Day 8 of a planned 11 day 'no solid food fast'

Blood sugar 90 mg/dL

Well at least I didn't gain anymore weight on my 'fast' 😊

This is one of those days where I have to ignore the scale. My face looks thinner and my skin is hanging. With 'extended fasting' this usually happens. 'Stuff is happening' but, the body will 'hold onto water' until it decides to let it go.

I have a trip to New York on Friday and @PrincessValerie and I are going to blow-it-out :)

I would like to get down to 165lbs and then take the 5lbs hit that I know is coming when I stop the fast and hit the New York restaurants.

169.0 lb Lost so far: 38.0 lb.    Still to go: 5.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

What's the outlook on the loss? How realistic is 165 in that small of a window and how important is it?

@chrisw77 - I honestly don't know if that much weight loss is possible in three days, but if I am just holding onto water I could get a 'whoosh' :)

Congrats on having reached this far into your planned fast. Admirable. Seeing how quick we can swell up, a deflation shouldn't be too alarming. Notice my legs is thinner this morning, and feel no worries about it.
