Went to BBQ at parents house. Ate a lot of food. Mostly keto, but I am sure baked beans in brown sugar doesn't count.

Had a great time :)

Below is a picture of what my Mother considers a normal size steak (this is on a 'larger than normal' sized paper plate). Even I could only eat a third of it. I had to remove the rest of the steak off the plate so I had room for the ribs, beans, salad, cauliflower rice.

With half the family on Keto my Mother did not have any bread, cake or pie. This is why I think I 'escaped' by only gaining a pound.
169.0 lb Lost so far: 38.0 lb.    Still to go: 5.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

ha! good feed. I would have eaten at least half that steak if not more. the rest of the food is of less interest. But great job eating mostly keto.

Annnnd Ribeye Steak Marinade is not 'Keto friendly': ½ cup apple cider vinegar - ¼ cup soy sauce - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil -2 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar - 1 tablespoon minced garlic - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon seasoned salt - ½ teaspoon black pepper :)

Mmmmm baked beans are soo good with anything grilled, especially steak! Also, beef doesn’t absorb marinades very well so you probably didn’t consume as much sugar as you think 👍
