I actually expected more of a raise ;). No big deal either way. I’m looking for muscle growth rather than a scale drop right now. Pushed back the loss another week. Should’ve planned that originally as we have the start of school this week. Lots of ‘last of summer’ family treats, ‘first day’ treats etc. Plus my dr was out so I didn’t get to ask about the nutrition aspect of going back to 1200 so I’m not sure it would be a good idea until I ask the nurse to find out for me :). I’m not exactly thrilled with this weight as it’s at the very top of my normal range but I can live with it if necessary and just try for a very small drop spread out.

I am not concerned at all. I frequently have a flux in weight of a pound, totally normal and you do need the calories for your work out days. once the kids are in school you will have more freedom to do your workouts and you will need the calories for the work. let your workouts be your control for body fat. Eat sensibly and you will be just fine.

eating sensiblely has always been an issue for me. I like fast and easy, sweet and salty. But if I have at least one good meal and one snack of a protein bar/shake I feel like I can be a little lax on a snack or a meal each day as long as the calories stay around maintenance and I get my 100g of protein per day. Like right now I’m debating lunch. Hubby says he may want to eat at the Mexican place for dinner so I have to figure up those calories. It’ll be over maintenance if I have lunch. Yet I still need to add protein in, probably at least a 160 calorie shake and 190 calorie bar but I can’t have them at once because that much protein at once can’t be good for the kidneys. Not when it’s easily digestible. Wish he would let me know earlier so I can adjust all week for it. Men ugh lol.
