180810: Glucose =99, weight=199.6, sleep=7:31.

Been a week since Glucose <100, diet AND exercise, woot!. Weight drop occurring as well. Pain down, energy up slightly. Sleep quality feels about right.

Amazing , the carbohydrate FX. And, possibly, protein Fx.

So, the ketone salts supplement arrives today, I’ll start at half dose and adjust accordingly, based on how my gut handles them. Hope to see further serum Gluc drop to <80, eventually.

adding ketones are really no benefit to the diet, the benefit is your body making them not to add more. you don't lose more weight if you have more ketones. your doctor did not tell you to take them did he or she??

Exogenous ketones can boost serum ketones to above 3milli-molar, which Is the the magic number for (possible) therapeutic control of brain cancers, and other issues I have. Increased metabolic health, fatigue and mental clarity are other, lesser benefits. Weight loss is only a minor issue. For me that is. My doctors AND I are learning through my N=1 testing. I’m keeping tabs with a local neurological department keto program as well as attending conferences and reading the lit, and corresponding with researchers and other seekers.

okay that is why I asked about doctor advice, for dieting it really has no benefit. I hope it helps. Navy seals use it for increased performance, but not many of us fit in that category. LOL!

thanks! Your SEAL reference is notable, as I want to become fit as a performance athlete, that’s the way I can attain my best mental and physical health. Most of my brain has suffered (necessary)radiotherapy, which is causing big issues to my quality of life. My F-in Brain(!). Radiation to the brain changes my Self, who I AM. My 6 years of LCHF has helped me to stay alive. To keep some part of who I am going. Choppy as it has been.
