in past week tried quest bar, quest pizza, vitamin water zero, mad craving for mac n cheese so bought velveeta and put on broccoli. tested whether I was someone who could be under 50 carbs instead of 20 (mostly from vegetables, but see above). got my answer. back to being more "pure"...
232.0 lb Lost so far: 46.8 lb.    Still to go: 53.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

If you look at your Vitamin Water is has carbs and stevia which is a sugar. To truly test if you can go up in carbs you may need to eliminate the sugars and then should keep your diet the same as when you were losing and just add in 5g extra of carbs per day for a week. If you don't gain, you can do the same next week with adding another 5g until you know your limit.

Mjg, yes, I saw the vitamin water carbs and had half. It was less a planned experiment than circumstances that made measuring/clean eating a challenge for a few days. Certainly more control would have yielded better results. There is no doubt, though that having the sweets (fake) caused cravings and hunger. Thanks for the tips, though; I could have used your reason during the week for certain!
